Vegetables prices up in Lahore markets, despite new arrivals

The prices of essential vegetables have further increased for a second consecutive week, despite the arrival of new seasonal crops. The local crop of various seasonal vegetables of Punjab has also reached the markets, besides the supplies from KP and other parts. But instead of reduction in the prices with arrival of new crop, the rates are further increased.
