Large amounts of high-quality fruit supplied to markets and supermarkets across the country

Strawberries have become Da Lat's primary crop

Da Lat's temperate climate and fertile soil yield strawberries with a distinctive aroma and taste, according to local resident Nguyen Hoang Vinh, a veteran in strawberry cultivation.

Da Lat's primary strawberry season commences in the dry period from November to April. Vinh noted that the region's favorable conditions result in fresh, high-quality strawberries that are firm, sweet, and aesthetically pleasing. Consequently, tasting these strawberries has become a must-do activity for many tourists visiting this Central Highlands city.

The French introduced strawberries to Da Lat in the early 20th century, making it Vietnam's oldest strawberry-growing location.

Strawberries have now become Da Lat's primary crop, with vast quantities of high-quality fruit supplied to markets and supermarkets across the country.
