Unifeeder Group, a multi-regional feeder and container operator and part of DP World Marine Services, has launched a new direct service connecting four Colombian ports with Panama’s Manzanillo terminal. This move enhances trade flexibility and transit times, particularly for time-sensitive exports such as fresh fruit from the Americas region.
The service, exclusively managed by Unifeeder, offers comprehensive coverage between Turbo, Santa Marta, Cartagena, and Barranquilla in Colombia and Manzanillo, Panama.
The new route caters specifically to export companies dealing with perishable goods. The route allows for additional calls at hub ports based on cargo availability to enable efficient utilization of vessel capacity.
“This significant expansion of our network reinforces our commitment to offering unparalleled solutions,” said Jesper Kristensen, group COO of Marine Services at DP World. “We aim to exceed customer expectations by delivering reliable and efficient services across diverse trade routes.”
