Kyrgyzstan increased its import of fruits and nuts from China by 86% in January-April 2024, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of China.
The value of imports of this group of goods over the 4 months amounted to $169.4 million. The physical volume of imports of Chinese fruits and nuts increased 3.3 times to 139,200 tons.
In the import structure, 94% of the total value was accounted for by the import of 12 products:
- tangerines — $49.5 million;
- shelled walnuts — $30.1 million;
- pears — $18.5 million;
- apples — $13.1 million;
- unshelled walnuts — $12.2 million;
- grapes — $9.4 million;
- fresh or dried lemons and limes — $7.2 million;
- fresh or dried grapefruit and pomelos — $6.3 million;
- fresh or dried bananas — $4.1 million;
- fresh or dried mangoes — $4.0 million;
- fresh or dried pineapples — $2.9 million;
- fresh or dried oranges — $2.5 million.
