OPS coincides with peak cherry season

Washington Fruit Growers is thrilled to return to the upcoming Organic Produce Summit. OPS has evolved to become a key gathering for organic producers, sellers, and industry leaders and it takes place when the company will be in the peak of its cherry season. This allows Washington Fruit Growers to engage at an opportune time for its crops.

The company anticipates a dynamic and enriching experience, where it can highlight its premium organic produce and engage with peers and customers. The summit is a unique opportunity for it to highlight the fruits of its labor—literally and figuratively—and demonstrate its commitment to sustainable and responsible farming practices.

The company will be in the peak of its cherry season during OPS.

The team from Washington Fruit Growers also looks forward to the educational sessions and keynote presentations that will delve into the latest trends and challenges in organic farming. These include sustainable agriculture, market growth, and consumer trends–all of which are of particular interest to the company. By participating in these discussions, it aims to gather insights that will help it continue to innovate and improve its farming practices.

That said, one of the more exciting aspects of the OPS is the opportunity to engage directly with customers. Washington Fruit Growers are eager to meet with buyers to discuss the unique qualities of its produce and the sustainable practices it employs. This interaction is invaluable, as it allows the company to receive feedback, understand consumer preferences, and build lasting relationships. It will also have informative displays detailing its farming practices, the benefits of organic produce, and the century-plus story behind Washington Fruit. The company plans to have a team on hand to answer questions, share insights, and discuss potential partnerships.

The company represents a large share of organic apples, pears, and cherries grown in the Northwest.

Organically, Washington Fruit Growers now represents a large share of the organic apples, pears, and cherries grown in the Northwest. In addition to its partnerships with Roche Fruit and Mt. Adams Fruit, Gilbert Orchards joined forces with Washington Fruit Growers last fall. This combination of these four growing and packing entities allows the company to increase its 365-day availability of organic apples.

The company looks forward to contributing to the summit's success and reinforcing its commitment to providing high-quality organic produce. Attendees are invited to stop by its booth, #302, during the show.
