Fourth Iberian Stone Fruit Congress will be held in November in Don Benito

Agromarketing España has started preparations for the Xtrema Fruit Stone Fruit Forum (www.xtremafruit.es). It will be the event's fourth edition, and the goal is for it to consolidate as a key event for the stone fruit sector, especially given the significant presence of professionals and companies from Portugal. This is why this edition will become an Iberian forum.

The biennial event, organized in partnership with Afruex, will be held on November 20 in the Feval Auditorium in the Spanish municipality of Don Benito. It will be a day of technical presentations and networking meetings. National and international experts from the stone fruit sector will address the latest innovations in varieties, plant health, post-harvest, precision agriculture and fertigation.

Last week, Agromarketing representatives travelled to the Extremadura region, where they held various meetings with company managers and institutional officials. One of the most important of these was the meeting with the Director General for Agriculture and Livestock of the Regional Government of Extremadura, José Manuel Benítez, who expressed interest in backing this initiative, which is turning the autonomous region into a hub for the stone fruit sector in the Iberian Peninsula.

The latest edition of the forum was attended by more than 750 agricultural professionals who were either present at the Feval Auditorium or followed it online via the Agromunity.com platform.

Those interested in attending or being present can now register or request information via the official website www.xtremafruit.es
