Stoffels Foods has restarted sales of figs from Israel since last week. "The Israel season started just in time. Volumes from Brazil are decreasing, and the Turkish season has not started yet," Patrick Stoffels says. The Israeli figs are well available in sizes 18, 20 and 24.
Stoffels Foods is also doing a lot with limes at the moment. "Due to the scarcity from Brazil, demand is high," Patrick says. "At the moment, sales of passion fruit and physalis are disappointing. In recent weeks, we see that volume is picking up and demand is slowing down. "Last but not least, the Egyptian sweet potato season has also started well again. Prices are good and demand is reasonable."
