"Our strategy has always focused on a broad spectrum of both import and distribution. With facilities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Hong Kong, we import everything fresh from 800 producers from 60 countries worldwide and distribute goods daily to more than 1250 clients in the Benelux and Far East," says Menno van Breemen of Aartsen. The company has specialised itself in the import and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables since 1907.
"Over 12 years ago, we started Aartsen Asia, based on the same principles and strategy as in Benelux: distribution and added value for our producers. Our Hong Kong office has grown into a team of 30 international colleagues, and we continue to develop to achieve further growth," Menno continues.
"Together, we aim to leverage this expertise to build a solid foundation for our future operations in India. Never backing away from a challenge, we have the desire to open a new office in Mumbai in the near future. For this, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated sales pioneers to set up and grow this office."
"The focus will be on expanding our fruit and vegetable offering in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. We are already active in this region from our Hong Kong office, but we are convinced that a physical presence is essential.
