Rosselkhoznadzor oversees potato exports from Russia to Kyrgyzstan

Between January 9 and August 27, 2024, the Nizhny Novgorod Testing Laboratory in Russia tested 100 potato samples, as reported by Rosselkhoznadzor.

Since late July, over 20,000 tons of potatoes from Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region have been sent to Kazakhstan, Serbia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

The tests found no harmful pests or diseases in the potatoes.

With these findings, Rosselkhoznadzor issued phytosanitary certificates for the potatoes, that guarantee that the potatoes meet safety standards and are safe for consumers in the importing countries.
