Tomato prices in the EU in August 2024 came in at €128 per 100 kg, up €7 compared to the five-year average.
Round tomatoes, vine tomatoes, and cherry/special tomatoes all noticed a decline in Spain as compared to the five-year average. In France, all sorts of tomatoes saw growth in contrast to the five-year average. Cherry/special tomatoes in the Netherlands stood at €213,74 per 100 kg, marking an 85% increase in comparison with the five-year average.
