The Foz do Iguaçu Dry Port, operated by Multilog, maintains its position as the leading facility in Latin America for cargo movement, with data from the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (RFB) for the first half of 2020 showing 69,772 trucks processed. Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay were the top countries in terms of shipment handling, with Paraguay accounting for 41% of all export operations. The period saw 38,454 import operations, featuring cereals, milling products, and vegetables, and 31,318 export operations, highlighting plastics, paper, cellulose, machines, and mechanical instruments.
To enhance efficiency, Multilog introduced online pre-registration for exports and updated its Genius relationship system. These measures aim to expedite processes, ensure the continuous supply of essential goods, and maintain safety in operations. Multilog operates across 20 business units located in Paraná, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul, covering 1.5 million square meters of customs area and employing over 1,500 personnel.
