A new solution for enhanced food safety and FSMA 204 compliance

Share-ify, recognized for its solutions in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Compliance, has unveiled Trace-ify™, an enhancement of its existing Ver-ify™ inspection/quality control framework. Trace-ify emerges as a distinct offering aimed at providing an affordable, fully functional solution for FSMA 204 compliance and traceability requirements.

Designed to facilitate compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) 204 and enhance interoperability, Trace-ify supports businesses through a flexible, a-la carte model. This model allows for integration with various back-of-house systems, leveraging GS1's EPCIS data standard through an Application Program Interface (API) for seamless connectivity.

The platform extends its capabilities to ensure meticulous tracking and documentation of Critical Tracking Events (CTE's) and food products across the supply chain. It particularly aids suppliers lacking EPCIS via API capability, enabling them to connect with major retailers or food service customers through Share-ify for sharing Key Data Elements (KDE's) in compliance with FSMA 204 and other traceability mandates.

Trace-ify employs advanced software technology to meet FSMA 204 requirements, enhancing food safety and transparency. It facilitates data transmission for small companies through various methods, including file uploads, manual entry, and API connections. Additionally, the solution simplifies the process for small restaurants and markets to document Shipping KDE's received from their distribution partners electronically.

Angela Nardone, COO of Share-ify, emphasizes the benefits of Trace-ify, stating, "Trace-ify enables companies to stay ahead of regulatory demands and safeguard their brands with our state-of-the-art traceability solution in one easy-to-use portal – saving all parties time and money."

Christina Bongo-Box, Vice President at Share-ify and a food safety expert, highlights the platform's role in bridging the gap between large organizations and their smallest trading partners, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the food supply chain.

Share-ify stands as a cloud-based network that fosters integration among trading partners, streamlining operations and Quality Assurance (QA) processes. It facilitates the exchange of crucial information and documents, including audits, inspections, and certifications, among over 20,000 companies within the food and adjacent supply chains.
