NLC boosts Pakistan's agricultural exports to Central Asia and beyond

The National Logistics Cell (NLC) is contributing to the enhancement of Pakistan's agricultural exports, with noticeable growth in various sectors. The NLC has facilitated the establishment of trade routes connecting Pakistan with Central Asia, alongside China and Russia. Reports highlight over 300 successful commercial operations in the Shanghai region, attributed to the establishment of land trade connections with these areas. In response to the recent earthquake in Turkey, the NLC worked alongside the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to deliver aid promptly. Pakistan is leveraging Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkmenistan as transit states to export commodities such as fruits, and vegetables to China, Russia, and Central Asian countries. Notable exports include dry fruits, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, bananas, cherries, kinnow, and mangoes. This surge in exports is not only generating valuable foreign exchange for Pakistan but is also promoting regional cooperation. The country aims to further increase its exports in the Shanghai region through continuous regional collaboration, with the NLC and law enforcement agencies playing a crucial role in pioneering new trade avenues. This increase in trade activities is aiding in fostering a peaceful and secure environment in the region.
