Starting Tuesday, October 22, the 'La Hacienda' brand will be available at Keelings in Barendrecht. "Many people still remember this brand for its high-quality mangos and avocados from Peru. Beginning in week 43, the first air-freighted Kent mangos will arrive at Keelings, followed later by shipments of mangos transported by sea," says Maurice Peters.
For Keelings, this is a great addition to their existing pineapple program. Maurice Peters notes that last season's mango supply from Africa showed that Keelings' customers are eager to load not just pineapples but other high-quality products as well. "Pineapples and mangos are a good match in terms of storage and shipping temperatures."
"We deliberately chose the La Hacienda brand because, alongside our own Keelings brand, we want to work with strong brands known for high-quality fruit. This is also reflected in our supplier of physalis, Colombia Paradise, which has long been valued for the shelf life of its products," says Maurice Peters.
