Armenian government to subsidize half of the certification costs for exporters

On October 31, during a parliamentary committee discussion on the 2025 state budget, Armenia's Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, announced a new support program for exporters.

The Armenian government plans to cover 50% of the certification expenses for local producers exporting their products. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden of obtaining necessary certifications, which can sometimes cost tens of thousands of dollars, especially since multiple certifications may be required for a single product depending on its components.

Additionally, the government is prepared to partially reimburse the logistical expenses for businesses entering new markets in certain cases.
