This partnership aimed at tapping into the burgeoning market for U.S. potatoes within the country. A strategic back-to-school campaign was initiated, targeting the primary consumers with bilingual recipe booklets to inspire cooking with U.S. potatoes.
The initiative saw a remarkable 60% surge in the sales volume of U.S. potatoes at Tamimi outlets. This uptick in demand led Tamimi Supermarkets to increase their range of U.S. potatoes, extending their availability from 25 to over 50 stores. This expansion effectively broadened the reach of U.S. potatoes within the Saudi market. Additionally, in response to consumer interest, Tamimi introduced two new varieties of U.S. fresh potatoes, further diversifying the options available to consumers in Saudi Arabia
