From January to September 2024, Uzbekistan imported more than 14,800 tons of lemons from other countries, according to the Republic's State Agency. The cost of the acquired citrus fruits amounted to $3.4 million.
The largest quantity of lemons was purchased from Turkey, with an import volume of 9,500 tons.
The top five largest exporters of lemons to Uzbekistan also included China, Tajikistan, Iran, and Argentina.
