Over the first ten months of 2024, Uzbekistan exported 1.6 million tons of fruits and vegetables, marking a 15.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Statistical Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In monetary terms, the export of fruits and vegetables rose by 29.8%, reaching $1.2 billion.
Grapes, peaches, and cherries constituted the largest share of the exports.
During the specified period, grape shipments amounted to 174,000 tons, valued at $147.2 million. Peach exports reached 103,500 tons, generating $96.9 million, while cherries were exported to the tune of 32,200 tons, bringing in $70.3 million.
