"We are capable of supplying up to 32 tons of mangosteen per week"

Also known as the 'Queen of fruits', the mangosteen is grown in plantations for Minyaci Kehidupan Indonesia, these are primarily located in Padang, Sumatra, as well as Purwakarta and Sukabumi in Java. Combined, they cover approximately 4,200 hectares.

"We are capable of supplying up to 32 tons of mangosteen per week," said Chintya Tjoeng from the company. "A 20ft container can accommodate 990 boxes of mangosteen, with each box containing 7.5 kg."

The mangosteen harvest season in Indonesia typically begins in December and lasts until March. It is very popular in Indonesia, and the country is recognized as one of the largest mangosteen exporters in the world.
