From January to October 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported 54,424.5 tons of potatoes worth $7,769,800, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Compared to the same period in 2023, exports more than doubled in volume, rising from 24,719.3 tons worth $3,941,700.
In the first 10 months of 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported 44,711.6 tons of potatoes to Uzbekistan for $4,673,700, marking a 2.2-fold increase from the same period last year, when 20,219.5 tons worth $2,333,600 were exported.
Other key importers of Kyrgyz potatoes include:
- Kazakhstan: 8,804.7 tons worth $2,749,000
- Russia: 884 tons worth $344,100
- Azerbaijan: 24.2 tons worth $3,000.
