Whole cabbage processing with new CAP 350 cutter

Building on the design of the CAP 68, the new machine can also cut larger cabbages and features an improved hygienic design. Thanks to a wider feeder and larger rotary blade, the CAP 350 can process white or red cabbages up to 350 mm in diameter. The capacity of the CAP 350 is around twice that of the previous model. When cutting 1.3 mm strips, for example, it processes up to two tons per hour, depending on the size of the raw product.

The cabbages are cut into variable-sized strips with consistently high quality. Shred shorteners can be used to cut strips to customer-specified lengths. The open design with removable covers makes it easy to clean and swap blades. In the physical processing chain, the cabbage cutter is preceded by a cabbage corer such as Kronen's KSB-2, which removes the core before a cabbage is cut. The CAP 350 can be optionally fitted with a discharge belt that ensures the continuous discharge of cut cabbages for subsequent processing or packaging.

Kronen can be found in Hall 1.1, Stand A-20 at Fruit Logistica 2025.
