From January to November 2024, Uzbekistan imported 627,000 tons of potatoes worth $52.6 million, according to the State Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.
Kazakhstan was the largest supplier, accounting for over 74% of the total imports with 465,000 tons. Pakistan followed with 111,000 tons, while Kyrgyzstan ranked third, supplying 71,300 tons.
The import volume of potatoes from Kyrgyzstan nearly doubled compared to the same period in 2023, when 37,000 tons were exported to Uzbekistan.
