Romania begins development of Europe’s largest blueberry plantation

Agricrafters, a Romanian agricultural company, has launched a project to establish Europe's largest blueberry plantation. Currently managing 40 hectares of blueberry fields, the company aims to expand cultivation significantly.

In 2024, Agricrafters initiated planting on new land spanning approximately 1,000 hectares. The initial phase involved preparing and organizing 62 hectares as part of the larger Salonata project in Romania.

The company's first plantation, developed between 2018 and 2022, covers 40 hectares and produces high-quality blueberries throughout Romania's growing season.
