According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to October 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported 1,552.4 tons of frozen fruits worth $2,827,600. This increase by 8.1 times compared to the same period in 2023 when the country exported just 190.7 tons valued at $273,500.
Russia remains the primary export destination, with 1,211.5 tons worth $2,250,900 shipped during the period. This marks a 9.6-fold increase compared to the same period in 2023 when exports totaled only 126.3 tons valued at $147,600.
Other key destinations include:
- Uzbekistan imported 200 tons, valued at $289,200 (compared to just 0.1 tons in 2023).
- Kazakhstan imported 120.9 tons, worth $257,300, up from 64.3 tons in 2023.
- A small shipment of frozen fruits from Kyrgyzstan was made to Poland, totaling 20 tons and valued at $30,300. Notably, there were no exports to Poland during the same period last year.
