Russia remains the leading market for Uzbekistan's apricot, cabbage, and cherry exports

During the first 11 months of 2024, Uzbekistan significantly expanded its exports of apricots, cabbage, and cherries, with the Russian and Kazakh markets dominating as key importers.

According to the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan exported 64,800 tons of apricots, valued at $62.2 million.

Top importers:

  • Russia: 51,450 tons
  • Kazakhstan: 8,061 tons
  • Kyrgyzstan: 2,688 tons
  • Azerbaijan: 1,483 tons
  • Belarus: 720.5 tons
  • Iraq: 112.1 tons
  • Georgia: 78.7 tons
  • Ukraine: 58.3 tons
  • Exports to other countries totaled 134.3 tons.

Cabbage exports reached 169,800 tons, generating $47.6 million in revenue.

Top Importers:

  • Russia: 88,650 tons
  • Kazakhstan: 67,870 tons
  • Kyrgyzstan: 8,560 tons
  • Belarus: 3,000 tons
  • Latvia: 1,310 tons
  • Other countries: 402 tons.

Uzbekistan exported 32,200 tons of cherries worth $70.3 million, with Russia as the primary buyer.

Top importers:

  • Russia: 25,420 tons
  • Kazakhstan: 3,520 tons
  • Kyrgyzstan: 2,750 tons
  • Belarus: 193 tons
  • UAE: 118 tons
  • China: 91 tons
  • South Korea: 28 tons
  • Other countries: 25.1 tons.
