"Over the years, we have specialized in temperature-controlled transport of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products," Tim Klümpen explains during the visit of the advisory board of the Straelener Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft (WFG). Together with his father, Bernd Klümpen, he manages the Straelen-based company on Hubertusstraße in the "Hetzert" industrial park. The company's radius of action extends primarily to Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

With currently 25 employees and a fleet of twelve vehicles, the family-owned company has grown steadily since its foundation in 2004. Company founder Bernd Klümpen worked as a truck driver at the Thyssen-Krupp plant before venturing into self-employment. The forwarding company started out transporting button mushrooms and continuously expanded its business areas in the following years. Tim Klümpen joined the company in 2014, and in 2015 the company acquired the current premises on Hubertusstraße. With the purchase of an adjacent option property, the company has set the course for further growth. There, the construction of another warehouse is planned. For the best possible ecological balance in transport and storage, Klümpen relies on environmentally friendly vehicles and storage facilities with optimal energy efficiency.
