According to the Agency of Statistics of Uzbekistan, the country exported $81.7 million worth of fruits and vegetables in January 2025, marking an 8.6% increase in export revenue compared to the same period in 2024.
However, despite the value growth, the export volume decreased. In January 2025, Uzbekistan exported 94,100 tons of fruits and vegetables, 35.5% less than in January 2024.
The main buyers of Uzbek fruit and vegetable products in January 2025 were:
- Russia – 23.7% of total exports;
- Pakistan – 19.5%;
- Afghanistan – 12.5%;
- Kazakhstan – 9.7%.
The remaining exports were distributed among other trade partners.
