Staples Vegetables reports surge in profits and revenue

Staples Vegetables, a long-established family business in the UK, focuses on brassica cultivation from its farms in Lincolnshire, Isle of White, and Suffolk. The company has reported a rise in its financial metrics. According to S Farms Ltd's accounts, pre-tax profits reached £17.6 million for the year ending 5 April 2024, an increase from £3.9 million in 2023. Turnover also increased, reaching £170.8 million, up from £144.4 million the previous year.

The strategic report highlights the company's focus on "developing and investing in the latest equipment and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity." Furthermore, the group's balance sheet is described as providing "A strong capital base for further sustainable growth alongside long-term security."
