What greenhouse grown products will be on display in Montreal this week?

Mastronardi Produce has prepared a lineup of products to be showcased during the upcoming 2025 Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) Convention and Trade Show in Montreal.

Products on display at the company's booth will include Canadian-grown Sunset® Summer Delight™ Strawberries, new Secilia™ Tomatoes, Bombs® Squad™ tomato on the vine medley, Aloha™ Peppers, and Backyard Farms® Green Leaf Lettuce in new resealable bag packaging. From new product launches to chef-prepared recipes, the company is proud to share this dynamic and engaging experience with attendees.

"We're always excited to be part of the CPMA's Convention and Trade Show. It's a fantastic event to connect with customers in an exciting way," said Geoff Kosar, VP of marketing at Mastronardi Produce.

Attendees will see the latest Sunset innovation, Secilia Tomatoes. With their aromatic scent and subtly sweet flavor profile, these strawberry-shaped tomatoes on-the-vine are ideal for cooking special meals and snacks, given they enhance the visual appeal of meals and provide a burst of flavor.

Sunset Summer Delight Strawberries are a strawberry variety characterized by their rich, ruby-red hue and sweetness. These berries are a standout feature of the Sunset Summer Series berry line. Proudly grown in Canada, the Summer Delight Strawberries can enhance desserts, salads or be enjoyed on their own as a healthy treat.

Sunset is also celebrating over 30 years of Campari cocktail tomatoes. This branded tomato is known for its blend of sweetness and acidity, making it a versatile tomato in the kitchen. Attendees at the CPMA show will have a preview of the new celebratory packaging and learn about consumer promotions planned for later this year.

The CPMA show offers a platform to showcase the latest brand innovations and connect with retailers. Additionally, with consumers becoming more conscious of where their fresh produce is grown and the impact of their food purchases, Mastronardi Produce is proud to highlight the company's Canadian roots at the show while also remaining committed to the thousands of acres of greenhouses operated across North America. For over 70 years, the company has been family-operated, with offices and greenhouses in Canada dedicated to providing Canadians with flavorful, fresh produce.

Retailers and attendees are invited to stop by booth #807 during the CPMA Convention and Trade Show in Montreal from April 8 to 10 to see the innovations from Sunset and Backyard Farms.
